About Us
We are a small team of fewer than 10 staff and 8 Board of Management members, supported by a variety of sub committees, all of which include a community member.
We have been without a GP for three years and the RFDS Rural Women's Health GP Dr. Sally Manuell, will be visiting quarterly, from August 2024, specialising in women's health.
When there is no GP onsite, we assist the clients to access their GP via telehealth and if needed using the Virtual Emergency Department.
Our mornings are often busy with clinical requirements, home visits and attending emergency callouts as they arise. As the community ages and health conditions become a part of life, we dedicate a lot of time and energy in assisting clients to choose the health care they want via health education, planning and referrals to specialty areas.
Our aim is to keep people at home for as long as possible.
